An accomplished political strategist, Gina has extensive experience managing ballot measures, candidate races, and advancing legislation at both the state and federal levels.
Before joining Unite America, Gina worked on key initiatives at the National Women's Law Center, NARAL Pro-Choice America (now Reproductive Freedom for All), the Ballot Initiative Strategy Center, and as a Legislative Aide in the Oregon Senate. Her notable achievements include leading a large-scale awareness and persuasion campaign around the Idaho v. United States Supreme Court case, a critical challenge to emergency abortion access protections, and managing a nationwide strategy to protect access to the ballot initiative process. She also played a central role in securing the passage of legislation mandating Holocaust education in k-12 schools and ensuring the University of California network only contracts with hospitals providing comprehensive reproductive health care, among other significant policy victories.
In addition, Gina has made critical contributions to a number of electoral campaigns, including “No” campaigns for Arkansas’ Issue 2 (2022) and Ohio’s Issue 1 (2023). She also ran NARAL’s electoral program in California through multiple major elections, a special election, and a recall effort, securing critical wins in highly competitive races.
This is just a snapshot of Gina’s diverse experience, which has been instrumental in driving lasting political and policy change. Based in Washington, D.C., she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Oregon.
