"In Colorado, voters are familiar with the caucus system — something we’ve historically used to demonstrate presidential preference. Transferring to a primary system means our election results are more representative because more voters are enfranchised, but in moving away from the caucus system, we’ve limited the ability to express nuance in voters’ opinions. Ranked-choice voting puts voters first by restoring their ability to say exactly who they want to be president."
